La Solitaire Yacht Race.

Paul O Riain will set off tomorrow as the sole Irish sailor in the 38th edition of La Solitare. The race is made up of four legs between 3 countries. France, Ireland and Spain are the three countries and the race will mean 13 days at sea and covering a distance of 1,876 miles. Leg one, which starts tomorrow is from Caen to Crosshaven a distance of 415 miles.
50 skippers will take to the starting line tomorrow. We’ll follow progress here on Bear180.
